Who wants to be just like everyone else?
You don't get recognized looking like the other guy.
Our creative feels real. Because it is. 100% all natural. Our work is always authentic because we produce projects with purpose. We offer a big spoonful of substance with all our style. We want our work to be genuine. People like that.
Why be like everyone else and make the same stuff? Uh, we don't know how to do that. Instead we create stories that are a little different. Fancy gear is cool but you win awards by the tales you tell. Make them deep, make them different.
When you have great ideas and a ton of talent you don't copy. You create.
Thinking out of the box? Nah. Make a new box.
OUR TEAM LEADERS
Moving Pictures is led by Ed and Orly Wiseman. They met while working on the PBS series Reading Rainbow. They married, had three kids and have worked together ever since. They believe in working on stuff that matters. Between them they have 17 Emmy awards and dozens of nominations.
Orly is a master juggler of creative and logistical stuff. She can toss ideas, maneuver a big crew and shave a budget ... simultaneously. A cell phone, laptop and portable charger make her day. Orly has produced Emmy Award winning TV, independent films, commercials and other cool creative.
She's been a show runner, supervising producer, production exec and show producer. She has become known for a phrase that makes magic, "Sure, no problem!" Orly always finds a way.
Orly loves to cook and can recreate just about any flavor or recipe she’s tasted. On days off she can be seen planting in her garden, thinking up the next thing to cook and the next show to produce ... at the same time.
Ed is a creative architect. He loves to design new projects or, even better, transform his team's ideas into amazing stories. Ed writes, directs and produces. He has worked on Emmy Award winning TV, commercials, corporate media, and documentaries.
Team members who work with Ed have won major awards in every category.
Ed's also a digital junkie. He loves new gadgets and software. It's been said that he designed the whole iPad experience before the other guy did. Who knew?
Karen Haberberg is an amazing portrait and event photographer specializing in capturing natural moments. She has been working with Ed and Orly for almost twenty years.
